Hi everyone, thanks for the feedback, hilariously I actually have quite a loud voice! There was a setting error rather than a physical positioning error we think- we’re getting a tech wizard to take a look.
We did video our conversation and the volume is fine on that - You can find it on my YouTube channel @tedwatersmusic or direct link here
Thank you Sarah for your delicious solstice offering. That wonderful poem is by C C. Williford, according to facebook anyway.
A quick note about volume- even with the volume turned up to max and holding my speaker next to my ear, Ted's speaking voice was barely audible. Her singing was fine volumewise, so I suspect she was not close enough to the microphone during your lovely chats, as she was so relaxed.
Yes, C.c. Williford, who was a woman x x did I not credit it? That would be the second time I have read it without crediting, and thank you for letting me know about volume... argh!!! I wonder if I can bring the volume up some how.
Haha you said you didn't know who wrote it. Maybe guests need to be reminded to speak close to the mike so they can be heard. I am a total technophobe, so I can't say anything helpful I'm afraid. 🫂
I totally agree with Steph as I too struggled to hear Ted when she was speaking. The volume dropped away a lot as she spoke, coupled with her very soft tones.

Thank for letting me know. I must have turned a meeting down by mistake x
